Fashion Designers Outlets

Tuscany is renowned for its stunning landscapes, the famous art cities, the good food and the excellent wine. In addition Tuscany is a great destination for shopping in Italy.

If you're interested in Italian designer brands and international name brand items, you should do some outlet shopping while you're in Tuscany. Gucci, Prada, Cavalli and many other Italian and international brands are located in malls and retail outlets in Tuscany - and here are the details of where they are!

The Mall

Via Europa 8, Leccio - Reggello (Florence). Monday to Sunday from 10am to 7pm. From June through August, open until 8pm. Open during most holidays as well, except on January 1, Easter, and Christmas and Boxing day (December 25 and 26)

The Mall is the most famous shopping outlet in Tuscany and one of the first ones to open in the region. It's located not too far from the Incisa-Reggello exit on the A1 highway and you will find several signs after the exit showing the way. In addition, there are regular buses that go to The Mall departing from Florence's SITA bus station in front of the SMN train station .

The outlet is specialized in famous, fashion designer shops. Here, you can go shopping at Gucci, Ferragamo, Cavalli, Armani, Valentino and Tod's for the Italian houses. Among the international fashion designers, there is Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent and much more, including a whole building right next door for PRADA. More stores opening soon.

NOTE TO MORTALS: These are high fashion, luxury brands.... if you generally love and shop at these stores, the outlets are a bargain. But if you don't, know that if a wallet at the boutique costs 500 euros, you can't really expect to find it "cheap" at the outlets either. Even a 50% or 60% discount still means over 200 euro. Don't say we didn't warn you! ;)

The Smart Gallery

Ruota al Mandò - Reggello (Florence). Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm. Closed January 1, Easter, and December 25 and 26.

A relatively new shopping mall since it just opened in 2011, the Smart Gallery (previously called Fashion Valley) offers an additional stop for those already planning to head to The Mall and the other outlets in the area.
